Rachel Kaeser

Practice Manager

Rachel is our awesome Practice Manager who has been with Toowong Orthodontics for 21 years. With a wealth of orthodontic knowledge, she likes to jump into the surgery or the front desk to help wherever and whenever she can. Rachel is an incredibly empathetic and supportive person who encourages growth for all our staff members. When she isn’t doing the gruelling paperwork and behind-the-scenes stuff Rach is learning cello and acoustic guitar and spending lots of time with her dogs, Bentley and Biscuit.

Paula Fenelon

Hygienist

Paula is our hygienist who has been working alongside Dr Goodyear for many years, both privately and in the public system. Passionate about dental health, Paula’s main goal is to make sure that our patients’ hygiene is at a high standard throughout their treatment. Paula walks into work every day with a smile on her face and a coffee in hand. She is an integral part of the team whose knowledge and patient interaction is greatly admired. Aside from cleaning teeth, Paula likes to spend time with her family and cook.

Dr Faye Goodyear

Specialist Orthodontist

Dr Goodyear gained her Dental Degree from Guy’s Hospital London, her Membership to the Faculty of Dental Surgeons in Glasgow, and completed her Masters in Orthodontics and a BSc (Hons) degree in psychology at the University of London.

After a decade of both private general practice and public health experience, Faye bought Suite 16 of Toowong Terraces in 2016 and redesigned the new contemporary fit out herself with the help of her father, a retired architect.

With a taste for adventure (having been a bungy jump instructor in her twenties), Faye enjoys getting out on her bike and is a keen competitive road cyclist and she can be found riding early most weekday mornings. On the weekends she loves spending time with her husband and children.

Jana Denning

Dental Assistant

Jana is our multi-talented Dental Assistant who first joined the practice last year, although 2020 marks her fifth year of working as a Dental Assistant. Part of what makes Jana’s days at Toowong Orthodontics is building strong relationships with our patients and fellow team members. A kind-hearted team member who looks out for opportunities to help others, away from work, Jana is a keen horse rider and hiker!

Lauryn Gaunt

Dental Assistant

Currently completing her Certificate III and IV in Dental Assisting with ADAQ, Lauryn is a confident and kind young woman who has a very caring nature. When not at work, Lauryn likes to spend time with her golden retrievers, Macy & Mia, and go camping with her family and partner.

Sarah Braybook

Receptionist

Sarah is our bubbly receptionist who will greet you with a happy smile. If you’re in the waiting room and find yourself humming along to the music, you can thank Sarah, as she’s in charge of the daily tunes. Sarah is there to book in your next appointment, answer any questions you might have about your treatment or contract. When Sarah isn’t at work, she enjoys spending time with her partner, their puppy Ollie and playing netball.
